Great Rift FC have officially unveiled Charles Odera as the club’s new Head Coach ahead of the 2026/27 season. As the Bulls begin preparations for their new season the appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for the club following a memorable 2025/26 season that saw Great Rift FC crowned National Division Two Western Zone B Pool B Champions.

Odera arrives with valuable experience from Kenyan football, having previously worked with Nzoia Sugar FC, Muhoroni Youth FC and Wazito FC, gaining experience at the top level of the domestic game. He also guided AP Bomet to promotion, adding valuable experience in building teams capable of competing for and achieving promotion.

Speaking during the official signing at the club, Odera put pen to paper alongside the Great Rift FC management, formally beginning his tenure with the club.

The new head coach will now turn his attention towards assembling and preparing the squad for the upcoming challenge, with the club also working on strengthening its technical and sporting structures ahead of the new season.

The Bulls will also enter the pre-season period with a number of exciting fixtures and activities planned, providing the new technical team with an opportunity to assess the squad, implement its ideas and prepare the players for the demands the season needs.

With Odera now at the helm, a new era begins at Great Rift FC.
