Great Rift FC continues to demonstrate its commitment beyond the pitch through a meaningful community engagement at Comido School. The initiative brought together players, staff and the local community in an initiative centered around service, mentorship and shared purpose.
As part of the program, members of the club will take part in manual activities including cleaning and improving the school environment, reinforcing the importance of giving back and leading by example. The players will also engaged with students through mentorship sessions, encouraging discipline, focus and the pursuit of positive life choices.
The event extended beyond service, as both the team and the school community came together in worship. During the gathering, the Bishop, (Bread of Life Church) reaffirmed his commitment to the initiative, highlighting its significance in shaping young lives. He emphasized the role such programs play in addressing key societal challenges, including drug abuse and mental health struggles among the youth, while also underlining the power of football as a tool for transformation.
Speaking through their actions, Great Rift FC continues to embody values of unity, responsibility, and purpose—showing that the club’s vision goes far beyond competition.
